The Mosier Valley Property Owner and Neighborhood Association has launched MV2.0 this is an initiative to unify, secure, and preserve the historic community of Mosier Valley. Our goal is to unify our historic community and prepare for a new chapter of expansion and growth.
A big thank you to Council Member Deborah Peoples for meeting with us at Texas Star on June 12, 2025. Her guidance gave us a clear path forward for our community's future.
Our Approach
The Mosier Valley Property Owners and Neighborhood Association is established to guide this effort. It includes a Redevelopment Organization and a Neighborhood Association to provide oversight. This will give us the structure we need to maintain our community and keep everyone engaged—from residents to business owners.
We're currently in the final stages of forming this collaborative team, which includes establishing our board, defining our mission, and setting up our operations. Soon, we'll implement these new organizations and begin the work of leading this historic community.
What We're Working On
- Mosier Valley Park: The City of Fort Worth will be redesigning and constructing the park using allocated improvement funds.
- Mosier Valley Cemetery: We've found resources to help us properly preserve the cemetery grounds, which have previously been maintained by dedicated volunteers.
- Mosier Valley School: The historic school building is currently located in Bedford, TX. We've reached out to both the owners and the City of Bedford, Mayor to discuss bringing it back home to Mosier Valley.
